The past week has seen an elevated rhetoric from NATO countries accusing Russia of preparing to launch a war on Europe, specifically, in 2027. As is always the case, these declarations appear oddly coordinated, which usually denotes a signaling of intentions from the West itself, rather than a genuine alarm over Russian plans.
This time it has also included the unprecedented coordinated calls that China and Russia could attack together—China launching an invasion of Taiwan as Russia does against Europe. In particular, NATO’s new Supreme Allied Commander of Europe Alexus Grynkewich stated this openly:
Polish PM Tusk elaborates:
Polish Deputy PM and Minister of Defense chimes in to strengthen the signposting:
It is strange how forcefully they have been pushing 2027 in particular as a flashpoint year. One theory is this could be the year NATO’s models have shown that Ukraine will reach collapse and capitulation to Russia, requiring the next stage of the conflict to be tied on in order to continue the program of destabilization against Russia. Also, it could be a last ditch game plan to save Ukraine at the point of collapse: by provoking and triggering a new Russian front elsewhere in Europe in order to divert forces and keep the Russian Army from sacking Kiev or even all of rump-state Ukraine.
The most obvious hinge point for this would be Kaliningrad, where NATO officials have likewise escalated threats of late.
This culminated the past week with top NATO general Christopher Donahue boasting that the “defensive” alliance has developed a plan to capture Russia’s Kaliningrad with unprecedented speed:
The Commander of U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF), Gen. Christopher T. Donahue stated recently that NATO has developed a plan to capture Russia's heavily-fortified exclave of Kaliningrad “in a timeframe that is unheard of” in case of a full-scale conflict with Russia.
Planning for such an operation follows the implementation of a new allied strategy known as the “Eastern Flank Deterrence Line”, which focuses on bolstering land forces, integrating defense production, and deploying standardized digital systems and launch platforms for rapid battlefield coordination within NATO. Further speaking about the new strategy, General Donahue stated, “The land domain is not becoming less important, it's becoming more important. You can now take down anti-access, area-denial bubbles from the ground. You can now take over sea from the ground. All of those things we are watching happen in Ukraine.”
This is a clear message from NATO: that continued provocative actions are meant to impel Russia into firing the first shot, so that NATO can cry “aggression”.
Ironically enough, NATO bigwig ‘Admiral’ Rob Bauer made several contradictory statements, demonstrating just how confused and misaligned NATO is on its messaging. First he told Welt that, actually, a Russian attack on a puny Baltic state would not immediately trigger an armed NATO response:
Rather, he said this would merely trigger internal NATO “consultations” on how to act:
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s collective defense principle wouldn’t necessarily trigger an immediate armed response in the event of a “small attack” by Russia against a member like Estonia, Admiral Rob Bauer, former Chair of the NATO Military Committee, told the newspaper Die Welt in a June 23 interview. Bauer explained that a small Russian operation that does not threaten a member’s “overall territorial integrity” would leave “time for consultations” to weigh the question: “Do we want to start a war or not?”
In a newer interview with TV Rain he put his foot in his mouth in an even more glaring way, admitting that NATO is the one expanding to the Russian border, while Russia has not in fact reciprocated in kind:
That’s not to mention his first admission, which is a must-see: that Russia is producing more military hardware than it needs for Ukraine—i.e. excess capacity for the reserve.
Despite Bauer’s asinine contradictions, if these NATO attack plans weren’t bad enough, according to L'Antidiplomatico the West is developing plans to strike Russia from within Ukraine:
Summary from Russian RVvoenkor channel:
The Kensington Treaty: Western countries are preparing to attack Russia, using Ukraine as a bridgehead
▪️Europe, led by England, France, and Germany, with the support of Rome, Warsaw, and Copenhagen, is boasting about creating the potential for a targeted strike on Russia. For this purpose, foreign troops and long-range missiles are planned to be deployed in Ukraine, writes L’Antidiplomatico.
➖"These 'heirs of the Nazis' understand 'security' as the use of missiles from Ukrainian territory, boasting that the London – Paris – Berlin triangle outlines the defense of all Europe," the article says.
▪️The EU is preparing for an attack under the "European Shield" program, and a former German minister has announced the creation of "the potential for a precise strike on Russia with conventional weapons."
▪️The pact includes the joint development of a new long-range missile system, which will be handed over to the Kyiv regime to "strike deep into Russia."
▪️These "hypocrites" continue to insist on the "war that started three years ago," turning a blind eye to events before 2022. The bloodthirsty regime in Kyiv, created by the EU-USA-NATO in 2014, has become the executor of military plans, sending teenagers and the elderly to their deaths.
▪️The author emphasizes that the German chancellor is ready to support the "revival of the 'glory' of the Reich," sending Patriots to the Nazis in Kyiv. Trump's new system is just sending weapons to Kyiv and purchasing new ones for the profits of the US military-industrial complex.
➖"Such are the pro-European hypocrites, political dwarfs, and demagogues who control the Nazis and Banderites in Kyiv."

This refers to the Kensington Treaty signed by France, Germany, and the UK mere weeks ago that is the “first formal pact between UK and Germany since World War Two.” The agreement is meant to bring closer cooperation in a number of spheres, particularly defense, and comes just after Germany announced plans to acquire the American ‘Typhon’ missile systems. This system is essentially a ground-launched Tomahawk missile that would allow countries like Germany to launch extremely long-ranged missiles that can hit Russian targets thousands of kilometers away.
The announcement of Typhon acquisitions is a bigger deal than it sounds. In 1987 the INF Treaty forbade all ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with these ranges to be stationed in Europe. As such, the planned deployment of these systems in 2026 would mark an epochal and dangerous shift, ending a nearly 40-year run. Who knows if future provocations will include German threats of deploying these systems to Ukraine, which would allow Ukraine to hit virtually any target in Russia no matter the distance.
Recall that late last year, Admiral Rob Bauer had also called for NATO to consider “preemptive strikes on Russia” in the event of brewing conflict.
The unprecedented rhetoric, particularly from Germany acting as the useful idiot for the Atlanticist Empire, has taken new heights. In addition to the above covered remarks, German Defense Minister Pistorius also explained how “willing” German soldiers are to kill Russians in the event of conflict:
One must simply wonder in awe what the purpose of such statements are? Russia does not sit there making direct threats against European nations, but for some reason, the Europeans simply cannot resist in continually pushing Russia’s buttons with increasingly dangerous and hostile threats, particularly ones that stir dark ancestral memories; this is by design.
For the record, several Russian officials including top-ranking Duma member Leonid Slutsky have responded to NATO’s threats against Kaliningrad, stating openly that a nuclear response would be in order:
Leonid Slutsky, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, responded to those comments in remarks reported by Russian state media TASS.
"An attack on the Kaliningrad Region will mean an attack on Russia, with all due retaliatory measures, stipulated, among other things, by its nuclear doctrine. The US general should take this into account before making such statements," Slutsky said.
Naturally, one of the chief avenues for the escalations has been the targeting of Russia’s “shadow fleet”, as always. Last week Greece threw a major monkey wrench into the plans by announcing they would continue shipping Russian oil despite EU bleating:
Ex-Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis revealed Russia has nearly 1,000 ships in its ‘ghost fleet’:
Recall I reported this number months ago when some Western pundits claimed Russia only used 200-300 or less ships, which could “easily” be stopped by sanctions. In fact, Russia’s ghost fleet is gargantuan in size and continues to see new military escorts around the Baltic Sea and beyond.
Despite the alarming nature of all the threats and comments discussed herein, it still must be understood that the vast majority of NATO’s gesticulations are far more bark than bite. Virtually everything processed through the decrepit halls of Brussels and beyond these days is mere performative in nature, all designed to create the illusion of strength, solidarity, initiative, and confidence. In reality, the West has virtually none of those things, and their desperation in even antagonizing Russia in this way stems entirely from the internal knowledge that the Atlanticist Empire’s time is running out. If Russia is allowed to win in Ukraine, NATO and the West’s policies will have been exposed as futile and self-destructive.
That being said, I do believe the West’s planners view the sacrificing of small-fry countries like the Baltics as acceptable risks. They will use them as the vanguards and useful-idiots-in-one to pressure Russian Baltic assets, including Kaliningrad, and the possibility of Russia making an “example” of one of those countries is an acceptable gamble. You heard it from ‘Admiral’ Bauer yourself, a Russian attack on these sacrificial lambs would not even trigger a NATO response—but it would trigger a lot of quite useful fear-mongering, propaganda, and more militarization which would buy the crumbling Atlanticist Empire another half decade or more of time to conceal its systemic problems via heightened war-alarmism.
Remember, when “major war” is always on the doorstep, virtually any issue is able to be swept aside and marginalized as secondary, any governmental dysfunction shielded—just look at the approval ratings of European leaders. Under the constant tension of ‘imminent war’ such things become ‘excusable’ by virtue of necessity by a populace overtaxed with fear and anxiety.
Macron’s approval rating hits record low:
Approve: 19 % (-4)
Disapprove: 81 % (+4)
All manner of civic repressions and governmental derelictions are now covered by the smokescreen of this hyped up ‘Eastern threat’. But in doing so, European leaders have precariously bound the stability of their entire order under one shaky imperative—which is why once Russia forces its collapse, NATO and the EU will have no political or strategic footing left; the settlement of all long-neglected accounts will be due.
Merz’ recent psychotic speech underscores the hostile tenor of the increasingly desperate Atlanticists—they want nothing more than their impoverished and repressed populaces to believe that the only issue that matters in the coming years is militarized solidarity against the One Big Threat from the East:
This fatal policy is driving the EU, NATO, and the entire Atlanticist paddy wagon off the cliff and straight into the abyss. The only question remains is how long will the European citizenry put up with such demented leaders, who have destroyed their once-flourishing countries and sacrificed their citizens’ futures for the mandate of an elite few?
